Vehicle Details

This is my 1985 Pontiac Fiero & it’s in no means a perfect survivor of a bygone era. The Pontiac Fiero was America’s first mass produced mid-engine car.

My uncle bought it in Missouri/Arkansas and then transferred the title into his name from his wive’s as originally it was in hers hence the “three” owners. I grew up around this car and bought it outright from my uncle’s estate. I no longer have space nor need the car for any reason other than sentimental value.

The exterior paint is in great shape, repainted in 2011. Drives great on the road and highway. Shifts smooth, just replaced the clutch, flywheel and an entire list of parts that needed to be replaced. Will be including receipts for all of the maintenance under my ownership.

Fieros are uncommon to find with the 5spd transmission. Power comes from the “Iron Duke” (I4 2.5L carbureted engine).

She does rev nice & high for only being an “Italian” inspired sports car exterior with a commuter car engine; that mid engine handling will make you love driving on & off the ramps of your local cloverleaf highway intersection.

Prefer driving this 2.5L I4 to the 2.8L V6 version that is out there.

This is a show car, project car, weekend toy, hooptie car, whatever you want to call it however you can very well daily it if you are feeling like a frisky dingo.

The last show it formally participated in was the 2022 Palm Valley Autoshow. This car is no means perfect, but is a functioning example of a 38yr old piece of automotive history.
