Survivor! Pontiac Firebird.Trans Am. Color is Fiero Bronze with Camel Brown interior. Original paint. This was a California car built in the Van Nuys plant and titled in CA until 2002. It then went to a storage barn in Nevada until this year. Car is very solid, frame, undercarriage, body panels, lower door sills, just a dry desert car that will make a great starting point for a resto mod and LS conversion. No need to replace floor pans and all that rust repair that is common with these GM bodies. The engine is the 5.0 liter 305 normally aspirated motor with Quadrajet 4 barrel carb. So original it still has the smog plumbing in place. In preparation for sale i had it put up on a lift and inspected. Underside looks very good as well. Fixed a leaky brake cylinder, changed the oil, found the water pump is shot, did a overhaul on the Quadrajet so it starts and runs but needs to go straight to a garage, it is not a driver yet. New Diehard battery. Installed new ignition lock and key. Comes with full set of locks that match the ignition. The interior isnt bad, drivers seat ripped but panels are intact, the dash isnt cracked on top, headliner is nice, carpet is shot. This car was optioned very nicely, power windows, power locks, power seats, cruise control, anti lock 4 wheel disc brakes, auto trans, console shift, bucket seats, original Honeycomb mags.. Not a T top just a coupe. Only body damage is a fist sized dent in front of right rear wheel shown in pic. Odometer shows just over 62,000 but mileage is unknown and title states so. Clean clear New Mexico title in my name. Car located in Albuquerque residence. Great barn find for a Bandit clone or nice restomod project. You dont find rust free cars like this back east.
