No Reserve* Scammers * I didn't want to have to put this on here but based on some of the messages... Folks, I have been hit by scammers before. Please don't waste time trying to scam this post. Honest bidders only. The vehicle will not be taken or shipped (for those who make those arrangements and even then I will be requesting delivery confirmation on my end) until the amount is paid in full or in eBay's escrow. Thank you for your understanding.
'79 T/A 403 with a 3 speed auto transmission with 77 front end bumper. Selling the whole car (except the seats).
This car comes with all the parts (except seats because they have been custom upholstered and are expensive) and has already been stripped (Engine, Tranny, shaft, and suspension/wheels etc., are still in it though) and ready for body work and paint (including the engine bay). The interior was black but the original paint was brown and can be seen in pic. The Rug, headliner, and door upholstery were bad and had to be tossed. You'll want to replace those. As we stripped the parts out, we sanded, painted, and sunbaked all the engine accessories. The car ran before we stripped it as I drove it from Arizona, but the engine was modified and I was going to get a rebuild kit. The car was also brought to CA emissions standards and legal, registration paid up to date, and then put on non-op. We have plates and pink, and all the stripped parts, nuts, bolts, etc.
As one would think, I do not have the time or money to bring this car up to a full classic restoration like I wanted.
Update Important: * 1) I have cleaned the car and took more pictures, as well as played the most difficult level of Tetris trying to get all the parts in the car so they wouldn't be damaged. Success! lol Those pictures have also been added to the drive (link below somewhere)
* 2) I have decided to go ahead andInclude the newly upholstered seats IF...the winningbid is $4,000or more to cover the upholstery cost (and added padding). **However, they will need to bepicked up locally as well, or a separate shipping cost (set up by the buyer)because they do not fit in the car with all the parts and I don't want them getting ruined. This would be a bunch of large boxes or one massive crate. Best to pick up locally TBH. These pictures have also been uploaded to the drive.
* 3) upon further inspection as I was loading parts, it looks like the original interior was tan and the car brown, but the previous owner painted it. Either way, since you are restoring it, you will have nothing in your way to do a complete recoloring.
Here's the link to additional infopics. Hopefully I don't bust eBay's policies cause that's a lot to read. Its on my google drive set to view share.https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1iRdJ_3K7TKKXmZYs9AnaRd1R7c2q49S0?usp=sharing
Questions I have been asked:
Are the bags of bolts/parts labeled: Yes, we separated parts into baggies and / or put tape labels on mostly everything. There is some time wear but should still be readable as you can see in the pictures. We also took tons of pictures that the buyer can have and use to reassemble (in the drive link above).
Is it drivable: No the car is stripped. It has and comes with all the parts, but stripped meaning all the parts have been pulled so it can have paint and bodywork done with nothing in the way. This is a project ready for restoration.
How much to ship to "insert here": The shipping is only offered through eBay's "Uship," and is set up on your end. If the buyer would like shipping, a quote can be gotten from there website (should be available under this page's shipping tab) and then they would bring the truck to my house for pickup.
*In addition, If someone did want shipping and set it up through UShip, yes, I would cooperate. Any information, pictures, etc. I would be willing.
Is there any rust: Ok so I went through and cleaned and packed the car, I did notice some rust in the rear seat wells, and on some of the iron brackets and gears for like the ebrake and window cogs. It is mostly rust free and I see no rust on the frame. I would say 90%+ of the car is rust free. I added recent pictures the the drive (link above)
How long have you had the car and where did it come from: I have had this car for about 6 or 7 years. I purchased it from a private seller in Arizona and brought it up to CA smog legal.
How much is the reserve: I have no reserve on here. It is on to sell and get my property space back XD
What is the lowest I will take for this car: Well as mentioned above, there is no reserve, so whatever the bid is at when the action ends, That's the lowest It'll go for. :)
Can you send me pics: There is a link in the description to my drive that has tons more pictures. Yes it requires your google sign in, but I cant see who views it or get any of that info, so don't worry; that is a google privacy thing. you are safe. * It seems not all of the pictures are being showed on the link using google so I swapped it to OneDrive. Should see pink, undercarriage, and about 120ish pics
