Vehicle DetailsTRUE 1968 GTO, clear title. Partially restored. Unable to finish due to husband hurting his back several months ago.
We have replaced hood, trunk lid, both rear quarters, passenger fender, repaired lower door skins, doors still need rust repair work. We painted the hood and trunk lid, the remainder of car has a black sealer. Original paint on driver door and fender. The roof was sealed and new black vinyl top replaced. We have replaced the floor pans in trunk (added noise reducing pads and painted with the factory correct speckle paint), driver and passenger side floor pans. We have added a new hood tach and have replaced the fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, starter, Edelbrock carb, plugs/wires, distributor, 4 tires, heater core, chrome valve covers, steering wheel, gauges, hoses, battery, alternator, belts, radio/speakers, rear deck, driveshaft, and aluminum radiator. We will include the parts that we have already purchased: new chrome rear bumper, new exhaust system, new headliner, new carpet, new front seat covers, new interior rear side panels and smaller items. We will also include items we have removed and not yet replaced if needed. There are no brakes or exhaust on her. The frame has some rust that needs to be addressed. The entire bottom of car was ziebarted at one time. Mileage unknown. She did start at one point, we replaced the distributor and that’s when he hurt his back. Therefore it has not been lined up correctly yet and firing is off. Not drivable. We have $22000 in her already and hate to sell her, but he can not finish her.
