1981 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition T-Top AC with the very RARE OPTIONED (less then 1000 built) 5.0L (LG4) that only came with the 4 Speed Manual and the Shaker Hood.

This is a rare Shaker Hood optioned 1981 Special Edition Trans Am. Pontiac built very few Special Edition Shaker hood cars for 1981. All documented by Pontiac Historical Society. A copy of the window sticker and all documentation will be included with the sale.
Numbers Matching. TEXAS CAR.
The Factory Snowflake 15x8 wheels with gold accents were included ONLY in the Special Editionpackagewith the 5.0 LG4 option in 1981. The wheels are wrapped in 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white letter tires all around. Eibach lowering springs are installed up front, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. All of which has been recently serviced.
This car was repainted and decals were replaced a decade ago. The car is in excellent condition, both in appearance and mechanically. The fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, brake fluid flushed and replaced with MOTUL 5.1 Synthetic Brake fluid, front end serviced, all fluids replaced and upgraded, as well as a new Clutch, Pressure plate, and new Pypes 2 1/2 inch exhaust system with Spliters, all within the last 12-18 months.
This car runs and drives beautifully. And is extremely tight with no rattles or squeaks, which is very rare for F bodies of this era.This is a Factory AC car. AC WORKS.

As mentioned this car was optioned with the 305 (LG4) which GM offered with the shaker hood, less then 1000 built with this option in 1981. Engine is a 305 Chevy engine, mated to a 4spd MANUAL. This car was also optioned with a Limited Slip Differential (G80)Drivetrain is all #'s Matching.
Engine compartment is all factory original, and is all as GM delivered it.And yes the clock works. Radio is the stock GM radio.

The interior is in Very Good original Condition, as you can see in the pictures.This car also came equipped with TILT STEERING, and power windows.
All guages are functioning. Power windows work flawlessly, as well all interior, exterior, turn signals, ect.
The radio, although original does not work. I believe a Retrosound radio would work perfectly. (never liked modern looking radios in a classic)
Car is equipped with Subframe connectors, which is wise on a F-Body T-Top car.
I am also including the Original T-Top bags with the vehicle.
