This iconic car is equipped with the optional High Output 400 ci engine, which came with free-flowing exhaust manifolds and a more aggressive camshaft, producing 360 hp (at 5,100 RPM) and 445 lbs. ft. of torque (3,600 RPM). It has been completely rebuilt and has less than 20,000 miles on it since rebuilding.

As for the transmission, it comes with the M40 Turbo Hydra-Matic 400, containing the Dual-Gate, “his and hers” shifting arrangement.

These options combined with the convertible package, makes this quite a rare GTO as Pontiac only made 3,600 in this combination.
