We are so excited to offer for sale this amazing rare bankers hot rod of a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix quipped with a 389 V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. When most of the auto makers in the 60's were sacrificing comfort for horsepower there were some rare vehicles like this for those who had the means to afford them while still packing a huge horsepower punch. The vehicle has a 389 V8, 4-speed manual transmission, Rochester tri-power carbs, power brakes, power steering, bucket seats, center console, under dash air conditioning, wood trimmed steering wheel, vinyl top, 8-lug wheels, white stripe tires, dash tachometer, and PHS documentation included with the sale. This is truly a one of a kind car with such low original mileage. From the paint, the chrome, the stainless, the upholstery, the carpets, the glass and all the trim you have something very few will ever own and it will be the star of any car show. The Hurst shifter has been added to the vehicle as well as the 421 badging but it is a real deal 389 car per its documentation. This car was born an automatic and in burgundy but now has the 4-speed and this beautiful white base coat clear coat paint job. You can't really consider this a resto or a custom because it was built to be a period correct car with the parts available on a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix at the time so lets just say it was made better then it was factory equipped. There are no issues with this car, no stories, no cracks, no rust, no leaks, no damage and no decay. A real deal big body car with incredible horsepower in showroom condition ready for a new home.
