Ordered by Howard Bentley Pontiac of Fayetteville Tennessee with a pdi / delivery date of April 4th 1989 this Pontiac Turbo Trans am is build #1236 and has just 012,412 original miles.
I wont exaggerate and swear that its been in a climate controlled bubble all its life but i will tell you that great care has been taken to have never operated the car while raining or on a wet road and the car has always been well cared for. there is minimal flash rust on the chassis and underbody components. the car has always been stored inside and at least in the last 19 years has never seen a night outside as well the 10 years previous to that i've been told it recieved the same great care and it truly does show !I do apologize for the lack of professional photos im not much of a photographer. if you want to see photos of a specific area please just ask.Present is the window sticker, black box with the original pace car decals, thank you letter, tape, TTA owners manual booklet and TTA keychain. some original purchase documents are also present as well as some very informative information from PHS about the history and build numbers of this special car. there is alot of info about these cars on google but im sure anyone looking at this listing and interested in purchasing the car has spent countless hours if not days learning about this very special car. one thing i do like over the Camaro is since 1985 the Pontiac Trans am's were equipped with a 6 digit odometer unlike the potentially unreliable 5 digit odometer found on other f-body cars. The body of the car wears 100% of its original paint and is free of scratches and dings and is in absolutely amazing condition. the underbody and chassis is obviously rust free and in exceptional original condition. the interior materials are very bright having that crisp new appearance and are free of any fading or discoloration. the zr50 gatorbacks were removed from the car in 2008 (hard as a rock, cracked and unsafe) in favor of bfgoodrich g-force sport tires.
One thing i can tell you is that up until last year (i do regret selling the majority of them) i had several third generation Camaro's and Trans am's, many with very low mileage and some of the best examples in the country which leads me back to this car having very low mileage but not too low that you cant drive it. i would hope the new caretaker of this car will get it out and stretch its legs from time to time maybe out to some car showsSold on a clean and clear title with no prior claims or accidents.Buyer will be responsible for the cost of transport from our property in Mount Vernon Washington plus any taxes, licensing, fees and any inspections (will pass no problem) applicable in your home state. As always i will assist the buyer with all his or her shipping needs. the car will only be transported enclosed. i have the best rates in the country from Washington to Chicago, Ohio, N+S Carolina, Florida, Texas. $1,400 enclosed to any of those States.
Please be respectful of my time and make certain you have done all your research, ran a carfax or other history report, talked it over with the experts, had a serious talk with the wife for approval (if applicable) and just make sure you have ALL your ducks in a row before even thinking of contacting me. i shouldnt have to say all this on a car of this caliber but you wouldnt believe some of the rediculous scenarios ive seen.
