Real nice 1st generation 1966 Pontiac GTO Hardtop now available on the open market, Factory Original Rebuilt 389 ci 6.4 Liter, Engine Code (XE) has been bored .30 over, HP estimated over 400HP now. We added a Brawler 650cfm carb and dialed in perfectly. This GTO is factory equipped with Power brakes and power steering, Great engine pressure at 60psi, Backed up by a 4 Speed manual transmission also rebuilt and documented with invoices. Factory rear end as well. This car is equipped from the factory with air conditioning and will need some work to get it working. The radiator was replaced in 2017 and have the invoice. This GTO has outstanding power (see my video) suspension has all been redone and handles like a dream was completed in 2016 (invoiced) No odd noises, goes down the road straight as can be. I have the PHS documents that shows all the options this car was built with. The Body on the GTO is all original sheetmetal with original GM stampings in them from day 1. Solid frame with no signs of any accidents or welds, Factory floors and trunk metal as well. Car has newer installed dual custom exhaust system and have the invoice. American racing Vintage wheels with a good set of tires all around and also has been aligned in 2016 (invoiced) The chrome front and rear bumpers shine really good and are original to the car. All the trim and bezels are in good condition too. The GTO is a factory Y2 code and that means it was a Candlelight cream original color from the factory and now during its lifetime it has been repainted in its famous popular color code R in which is called Montero Red. The interior on the car is factory color code 223 in which is Black. The bucket seats look real nice in no rips or tears anywhere. Factory GTO center console with 4 speed shifter. The dash pad and cluster are in great shape and appear to be original. All the door panels are factory GTO as well in great condition along with the black carpet. There is an added Tachometer installed and it can be easily removed if desired. Also added is the triple gauge package in front of the shifter and all works excellent, Clock is not working and they usually do not, BUT we can order a replacement and install for additional cost or you can have fun doing it in your own garage, parts are easy to find. The radio that has been installed in not cheap its expensive and we have the invoice for that as well. It adapts to your smart phone but yet appears to look vintage, The original radio is in the trunk and goes with the car. All the glass in the car is in real good condition as well. The steering wheel is original and not perfect but nice for its age. We believe this is a 3/4 car owner, We do have a copy of the original title work from back dated July 29th 1969-This is one of the most reliable classics in my opinion. GTO= Grand Turismo Omologato means a grand touring production car. I also just ordered and will install a NEW set of 15 Cragar chrome wheels and set of NEW BF Goodrich radial TA 255R/235F tires, If you decide you like these on the GTO it will be additional cost of $2000.
