This 1966 GTO is a beautiful example of American muscle and style. This car went thru a 6 year restoration. The old gentleman which I purchased this car from was a professional mechanic for over 50 years and worked his entire career at the Rochester GM plant. He took real pride on this rebuilt and paid great attention to detail and spared no expense, he spent $47,000 just on parts not counting his labor, and only used made in America parts, the pictures will tell the story. This car is very very fast, should only be owned by an responsible adult, she even chirps the tires in second gear. The GTO comes with a racing 509 MERLIN BBC engine, and a turbo 400 tranny with a 12 bolt 3:73 posi rear end and she was dyno at 603 hp .She has a secondary electronic fuel pump (along with regular mechanical fuel pump) and cooling fan you can activate with the switch if you want to take her out on the drag stri, or you can run it normal for everyday driving.
There is a non-refundable $1,000 deposit due immediately at the end of the auction without any exceptions so I know you are committed to purchasing, and the balance either bank wire or cash in hand.
