1969 Pontiac Catalina base

Nice, low mileage car, 53,795. Original 400, 2 bl. & TH400. Runs and drives well. All mechanical and electric system in working order. Body in overall very good condition. Fenders, quarters, doors, deck lid are all rust free. Floors and truck pan are in excellent condition. The condition of the metal work, no rust holes, will save many thousands of dollars in body work. Bumpers are very nice and shine well. The hard to find center section for the front bumper is excellent !! If you have ever tried to find on of these (69 is only year this was used) you know how rare they are . Has some rust in the backlite channel area. At some point sealed w silicone sealer, I have never seen what's under the sealer but this area needs attention. The hood has the left back corner bent & there are minor scrape marks on both front fenders behind the wheel wells below the trim line.
It was a vinyl top car, a prior owner removed it, so the top has the typical imperfections found on vinyl top cars. Car has a complete dual exhaust system, in very good condition. Power drum brakes, new shoes and wheel cylinders. Interior was partly removed to repair the backlite, all parts are there, including a new package tray. Headliner is nice, seat vinyl is good with exception of front seat, split needs repair. Carpet is in need of replacement.Some photos are with the factory wheels, since replaced with Rally II factory wheels and new BF Goodrich tires ( the tires were in storage and are around 6 years old now, they have always be inside not in sunlight). There are no center caps with the wheels. The Original wheels and hub caps go with the car as well.This was a project car, being upgraded to a hi performance, hi option car. A fair amount of work went into it before the owner decided not to finish it and sold it. ( I did most of the work for the owner and sold it for him before it found its way back to me, long story). Many of the options collected are still with the car, Front power seat system, complete with wiring and control switches, HO gages and speedo & wire harness to operate ( I have not tested these but it was said to be working), HO air cleaner (Ram Air type) needs some work. Good chrome and all the trim parts are with the car. The correct coded rear for an HO car can go with it. The ring and pinion are missing. Comes with current Vermont registration and tags.
