Description:

1988 Pontiac Fiero GT

1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. Condition is Used. All original. Low Miles at 55,367 miles I’ve owned for the last few years. I purchased from a gentleman in California that had it before me. Everything is factory. When I bought the car, the clutch was just starting to slip and so I had a new clutch put in by a local professional transmission and clutch shop. The new clutch has maybe 500-750 miles on it.Car just had the oil changed and new fuel filter. It runs well and drives great. It has the factory subwoofer and factory sunroof. Car did not come with a spoiler.Factory original paint is over 30 years old and is mostly shiny, with some fading on the top near the sunroof and on top of front fenders. Over all cleans up really well. It cleans up nice for car shows and looks great all cleaned up.Headlights pop up and work great. Factory subwoofer speaker needs replaced and maybe the two dash speakers as they are all original and are over 30 years old. Sound control subwoofer button on ceiling works well. The owner in California gave me receipts for oil changes and air conditioning work. I’ve never used the A/C, and I’m not sure if it’s R-12 or R-134.I’m hoping someone wants to drive and enjoy this AFFORDABLE COLLECTIBLE. This ones a GOOD driver and fun to own and drive. I’ve purchased a rental property and I just don’t have time to enjoy this as much as perhaps someone else might.Tire tread is great, but the tires are over 10 years old. Factory Gold fiero wheels are in good shape. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Don’t miss out on this car that is becoming more and more rare. They only made around 6,500 of these 88 GT’s and this 5 sp manual transmission is a fun and affordable one to have. All VIN stickers are intact and car does come with some documentation and owners manuals. Please only hit BUY IT NOW if you’re a serious buyer.I’ve sold a few of these cars on here and this one is my favorite. One of the questions that I often get is “would you drive this car across the country?” I’ll just answer that I live in Utah and when I bought it years ago, I drove to California with a flatbed trailer and picked it up on a trailer. It’s over 30 years old and while it does GREAT to drive to local car shows and 40-50 miles here and there, I’ve never really taken it on a long road trip. I have driven it as far as St. George, Utah and back, which is around 230 miles from Salt Lake City.If you know these cars, you’ll do fine to buy this sight unseen as I did and have not regretted owning it.
