Available to a serious buyer is my 1977 Trans Am Special Edition Y82, W72 4 Speed with 45,277 original miles. It was originally sold new here in Massachusetts and has been garaged its entire life and is inexceptional condition inside and out.The car is alloriginal, never any rust or damage and received a beautiful repaint approximately 17 years ago due to original paint checking, which is in excellent condition including the factory correct GM decals and decal pinstriping.There is a very small ding on the drivers door by the door handle and one on the right side fender right above the Trans Am decal which are very hard to see depending on the angle. The paint is not marked at these locations. The rest of the body is laser straight.The inner doors and inner trunk lid areas were not repainted and display original paint with decals etc. The original Hurst sticker is in tact on the right door, but doeshave a smug mark on it.All of the weatherstripping on the doors, T-Tops, hood scoop are original, soft and in greatcondition. The trunk weatherstrip has been replaced.All original glass in excellent condition including the Hurst Hatches.The trunk area is all original including mat, spare tire, inflator, jack, Hurst bag, speaker, speaker cover etc.The Buckskin interior is in outstanding condition. The car originally came with a standard interior, but was upgraded to a deluxe. The original seats which are in excellent condition will remain with the car if desired. Dash, console, steering wheel are perfect. The headliner has been replaced with exactmaterial.The two front floor mats are GM but not original. The rear mats are the original dark saddle.All gauges work perfectly including the radio, front/rear speakers and 8-track. The clock does not work.The engine, transmission anddrivetrain are all original and numbersmatching. The car has had many correct parts replaced and respectful upgrades keeping it original but able to drive anywhere and be very dependable. The exhaust was also replaced with newchrome tips which has a nice sound to it.The carruns, shifts, drives and handles like it looks and is very smooth riding. The Goodyear tires are also new with very few miles on them.Theundercarriage was tastefully undercoated when new and is clean, rust free and still showing factory markings.I have the original window sticker along with fuel economy window sticker, original build sheet, manuals, pamphlets, copy of previous title, along with receipts/documents.
