Description:
1967 Pontiac GTO
1967 Pontiac GTO Rare 1 of 2967 This auction is for a super nice 1967 GTO. It is Red with black interior and black vinyl top. Pontiac Historical Society doc's included with car. This GTO was ordered with the "economy" package consisting of 400 2 bbl. and a 2.56 rear. How many of these have you seen before? 2967 were made this way, less than 4 % of 1967 production. Only the Ram Air cars were made in fewer numbers. This 1967 Pontiac GTO is in great condition and all of the upgrades professionally installed by Competition Fabrication in Lilly Lake. All emblems, stainless and chrome on the car are in very good to excellent condition. The wheels are BF Goodrich G-Force ZR16's tires mounted on American Racing Rims that are Torque-Thrust II for that old school look. I also have 2 sets of the Rally II rims sandblasted and freshly painted. One set of the Rally's has tires on them also. Both sets go with the car. All of the rubber and weatherstrips have also been replaced. The paint on the car is OK. It's a good shiny paint job that is about 10 years old and looks great from five feet. But up close it has dust in the paint. There is no rust on exterior of car. The floor pans are rock solid as well as under rear seat. The trunk had a small 5" pan repair before I bought the car, nothing major. The undercarriage is as clean as a driven car can be. The interior is super clean and restored to original details. Everything works and looks great doing it. Alpine sound system with Sirius satellite radio. This 67 GTO runs excellent. The Bill Mitchell 540ci Hardcore Racing Motor is powerful yet very streetable. 600 hp @ 6,000 rpm 660 ft lb Torque @ 4,000 rpm Bore 4.500 and Stroke 4.250 Compression 9:1.
