1970 Pontiac Le Mans Sport, 4-Speed, 400ci with RAIII cam and HO Heads.Triple-black convertible.Purchased in Aug 2011.Driven about 2,500 miles over the past 8 years. Clutch redone probably 2,000 miles ago. American Racing wheels, BF Goodrich TA tires 1,000 miles ago, brakes are good, emergency brake holds the car.Replaced the front door panels, front arm rests, shifter boot, aluminum dash inserts, carpet throughout - 80/20 original loop blend with jute backing, sound deadener with heat shield throughout floor and doors, Boss 1200 Watt, 4 Channel, MOSFET Car Amplifier (brand new), Pioneer component speakers with separate tweeters front and rear, seat belts with shoulder harnesses front (auto retractable) and rear (manual), hooker headers, Edelbrock carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, new fuel pump, new high torque starter motor, new brake master cylinder (has surface rust), new dual, oversized exhaust, new gas tank, Be Cool aluminum radiator (car never overheats), many hoses are new, battery just replaced last month, new rear bumper, all exterior chrome re-chromed including front bumper, black paint is excellent, car was painted about 4 years ago.Convertible top in excellent condition, motor runs with switch on dash but no longer moves the top, but the top can be moved manually. Tonneau cover for use when top is down.Power windows all work, back ones are slow.Trunk release inside glove box works.Power steering. Hurst 4-speed shifter.No leaks, only a very little bit of slow seeping typical for a car like this, nothing I would say needs to be fixed.Original owners pamphlet, various books, a few spare parts.Please see all the pictures and ask all questions. Selling as-is. This car gets constant (constant) attention, comments, honks, waves, thumbs-ups, etc.This car can be driven daily and I would drive it anywhere.Always starts, runs and drives great.Notes: Original seatbelts were lap belts only so aftermarket shoulder harnesses cannot be considered "safeâ€.I did use all original mounting locations, but I had to create new mounting points for the upper mount of the shoulder harnesses.I did not install the cam and HO heads so I cannot absolutely verify.The actual mileage is unknown.Fast, loud and fun.I will be sorry to see this car go.(CA registration is current.
