Convertible 1967 4 Speed GTO hood

Work is slow so i'm going to have to let one of my toys go. This is a fun 1967 Pontiac lemans 4 Speed Convertible. The last owner told me it was upgraded to a 400 4bbl. carb. with a Muncie 4 Speed transmission. It sounds great and is a blast to drive. I found some numbers on the front of the block for you numbers guys. They look to read 566529 YX The 4 speed has some casting numbers that look to read 3839606 Please feel free to come check out the car and numbers for yourself if that matters to you.It has a GTO hoodwith plenty of get up and go and sounds awesome thru the dual exhaust. The car shifts well. I have had the car for maybe the last couple years or so. The last owner I bought the car from had it for about 20 years or so.

Previous to me it received 2 lower rear quarter panels welded on behind the rear wheels. It has a very solid undercarriage as seen in the pics. The car was painted a base coat clear coat last year. I had the car registered and insured until recently when i decided to let someone else enjoy the ragtop for themselves. It shows very nice and is a great driver. Not the 40,000 dollar price tag you may expect to see on a True GTO but this can be bought at a much more affordable price. Some of the chrome has been replaced and some is original which still shows in fairly decent condition.

The car has a good feeling clutch and is equipped with Power steering and front Power disc brakes. The outside lights work but see one of the signals is out. The gas gauge and temp and amp gauge work as does the E brake. The wipers also work. The AM radio and horn don't go on. The top works manual with ease but i do have some Power convertible top parts that will go with the car if someone cares enough to put them in.

On a hot summer day it starts to run a bit up on the temp gauge so i have an Aluminum radiator that i believe is a 4 core that can also go with the car. I had a New convertible top installed on the car last year. It also gotnew top pads and top springs at the same time. Many years ago the original id tag loosened up and was lost so the state of connecticut DMV gave the car a reassigned vin. That paperwork also is with the car.

So as usual the car is sold as is cond. In Connecticut the registration and the Title are one. So I have that to transferownership along with a bill of Sale. Car can be paid for with a check or bank to bank transfer or cash if in person. Any check will have to clear the system before car orpaperwork is released.
