Up for auction today we have a 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula. It was originally a 350 CID motor/TH350 transmission car. The original motor and transmission were long gone by the time I came to own it. When I bought the car, it had a Pontiac 400 motor with a remanufactured TH350 transmission in it. Neither were working particularly well and both needed to be rebuilt, hence why they aren't in the car anymore. Since the motor wasn't original, I sold it and started down the LS swap road. I didn't get very far, and the car was not cut up or molested. The rear axle was sold, and is not included with the car.
The car needs a complete restoration. The body has the usual issues. The body has rust holes underneath the wiper cowl at the firewall. There is a small hole in the floor underneath the driver's seat. There is general surface rust from the car sitting for years outside. You can see the condition of the paint and body from the pictures.
The car comes with a new set of headlight buckets and bezels (located on the inside of the car), all four Rallye wheels, 3 wheel chrome trim rings, a manual pedal set, a manual shifter hump and boot, and other miscellaneous small parts. What you see in the pictures directly associated with the car is what you get.
Please feel free to ask any questions you might have. Thanks for looking and good luck!
