1971 Real "242" GTO Convertible Frame Off Restored Owned Ex-Gov Kentucky Louie Nunn
Frame off restored ten years ago with over $50,000.00 in cost, has had over $15,000.00 in work done just last year to refinish the complete restoration to as new condition today.
ORIGINAL born with drive train with the correct GTO engine, transmission, rear end, sheet metal a lot of other parts. Repainted in original Lucerne Blue with dealer added Judge stripes. Interior has original bucket seat and rear seats with new carpet and floor mats, air conditioning added, new wiring harness, new original horn rim-blow blue steering wheel, original wood grain and engine turned dash, original console, original seat belts....the list goes on and on.
The engine was rebuilt, carb just rebuilt, new Ram Air Hood and system added, new battery, engine compartment detailed (pic does not show new air conditioning-see install pics included), new suspension, new exhaust, new springs and shocks, Red Line tires, original Rallye Wheels, new white convertible top and boot, again the list goes on and on! Too much to list.
