Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3 (Excellent Original Driver)
Here is an absolutely amazing find! It is a beautiful, survivor 1958 Pontiac Bonneville sport coupe in amazing condition. This is a very original car through out and has to be one of the nicest, mostly original '58 Bonneville's out there. This car was even judged and won an AACA historic preservation award at Hershey in 2016. It is an original California car from new with a perfect rust free body and red oxide primer still showing on the underside. I have some previous documentation like registrations and pink slip, showing the car was from Santa Barbra, CA until 1974. The it was sold to a collector in Minnesota, who owned it for many years until then making it's way to a collector in Pennsylvania. He owned the car for many years until he lost his storage and we purchased the vehicle. It has always been garage kept and treated as the wonderful collectors item and piece of automotive history, which it is.
This is 1 of only 9,144 Bonneville sport coupes ever built in 1958 and who knows how many are left today. Especially in the original condition this one is in. It is finished in the best Bonneville colors of Calypso Green over Burma Green and has a lot of its original paint the shows great. It also has a matching interior, which looks amazing. The car has its original 370ci engine with factory tri power set up that runs like a top. Unbelievably, all of the chrome, glass, trim, engine compartment and trunk are all original. According the previous owner, restorers have inspected this vehicle as a basis for restoring other 1958 Pontiacs. Which really makes a benchmark car and locks its place as a true historic vehicle in the Pontiac world. This car is priced extremely fairly as restored coupes bring upwards of $100K plus and convertibles $200K plus. You can restore one any day but finding a true survivor is another story. Survivors are only original once, even if they are not completely original. This car has truly stood the test of time and in the end, will be the most desired over restored examples. Do not wait, as this car will not last!!

Exterior: *Condition #3-
This Bonneville shows wonderfully for being a 60 year old survivor. It was ordered in the best colors of Calypso Green over Burma Green. The car has what looks to be about 70 percent original paint with some touch ups over the years. Since the touch ups were done over the years, there is a few shades difference in some areas. In some lights you cannot see a difference and in others you can, a touch. In some of the original paint, there are some minor age flaws in the metallic, but they are very subtle and all shown in our video. Over all the paint finish shows wonderful, has a great luster and shine. And has just the right amount of patina to look amazing yet shows that it's a very original car. This was an original California car and has always been garage kept so it is 100% rust free. The body is straight with excellent fit and finish as the car has never been apart. All the chrome and trim on the car is original and shows excellent, again with just the right amount patina of some items, to still look amazing. All of the glass is original and excellent. It is sitting its original wheels with mint original hubcaps and brand new Coker white wall tires. This Bonneville over all shows great!!
Interior: *Condition #3+
The factory green interior shows excellent and is a mix of OEM new and excellent original. The seats have been redone to like new, using the correct OE material, a new OE dash pad and factory correct "Sparkle" carpet that they do not produce any more with the metallic accents. The door panels are original and still look amazing for their age with a little patina on the bottom edges of both front door panels. The headliner is original and in very nice shape still. The original steering wheel is near mint with a mint horn ring. All the chrome on the dash, the gauge cluster and interior trim is in absolute mint, original condition. It has all original paint in the door jams with original weather stripping except for around the doors, which we replaced. Everything works in the car except for the power antenna, clock and wipers. All the gauges, courtesy lights, heater and lights work great. Even the original radio turns on but needs the antenna to go up for reception. The interior is as clean as you will ever find on one. Inside the trunk is completely all original also and looks good with its correct spare and jack.
Mechanically: *Condition #3
The car runs and drives excellent. It has its original 370ci V8 engine that runs like a top and was ordered new with factory tri power. Under the hood is completely all original and is a true time capsule. The tri power unit is 100% complete and functional with its original air cleaner. It has been very well maintained and serviced through out its life as it only has what appears to be 102k original miles. The car really runs and drives very nice and is a pleasure to drive.
Underside:*Condition #3
The underside is extremely clean, original and totally rust free. You will not find a cleaner, original underside on a '58 Pontiac. Is has no undercoating and still has its original red oxide primer on the floors. The exhaust system in all new and sounds great. The suspension while not new, its nice and tight feeling.
