428 powered 4 speed convertible Firebird

1968 Pontiac Firebird

428 powered (YH heads) While I don't know the full story behind the car as we purchased at an auction 3 years ago, I'll describe this amazing Firebird as accurately as possible. Firstly, itlooks and drives fantastic. It's equipped with the above mentioned 428, 4 speed, and disc brakes. The VIN tracks this to originally be a 350 4 barrel car with 4 speed. I see nothing on the car that wasn't updated. The suspension, gas lines, tank, transmission and basically everything appears to be very new. Ialso assume the 428 was newly built at that time as well. Thepaint, body, interior, and engine compartment are all exceptional...not perfect, but pretty close!
Whenwe purchased the car it was equipped with red line bias ply tires. We installed red line radials greatly enhancing the drivability. The bias ply tires are available should the buyer wish to keep the originality of the car.
Inaddition we upgraded the existing AM radio by sending it to R&B vintage radio. There it was upgraded to am/fm stereo with aux inputs and blue tooth with voice command. Bydoing this you can utilize the music from your phone or place calls all through theoriginal radio. The speakers are built into thekick pads.
