1982 Pontiac Trans Am

I am selling my project car...a Knight Rider's enthusiast's dream!

THIS IS THE REALDEAL! This car has the original 305 LU5 Crossfire engine (firstfuel injected engine). It has the working cowl induction hood...just like KITT. The body is in mint condition for its time with no rust except for right in-betweenthe T-Tops bar and a spot on the hood. Its painted with a dark green metallic "Maco-like" paint job (horrible), but the engine bay is still silver.I bought it to convert it into KITT but then I decided it would be sweeter to restore it to its original state, withSilver #16paint job and a black eagle on the hood! However, that never happened; I don'thave time for it anymore so I'm selling it.

The interior is black (sorry, not tan) with all original seats except for the driverandpassenger bucket seats (sorry no PMD seats either). The rims it came with aren't the turbo fins (but I do have a set if interested). The interior steering wasn't original and I remove removed it, I will include a Firebird steering wheel. I bought the car in 2012 from a guy in California. The car was manufactured in Van Nuysandnever left the state until I shipped it to NC (I even have a blue license plate for it...rare!).

I drove it a few times but it would stall after about 30-40 minutes, its been in the garage ever since never been outside after. I rebuilt the engine, painted itandreplaced the radiator a few years ago with all new pistons rings and heads, cam, seals, gaskets (all standard parts). I purchased a used Corvette 350 CFI ECU for the engine to replace the original ECU (never tested). I did add oil to ensure it wouldn't rust inside and manually turned it a few times just in case.

It is currently on jack stands but can easily bolt the wheels on to move it. I've been a little busy and had some financial issues so I never got around to putting it all back together...so I'm selling it to someone who could benefit from it.
