This classic Pontiac is super clean and originally rust free, and has undergone a ground up, nuts and bolts restoration. This awesome Trans Am is a factory correct 455 car but it is not the super duty model. It has new base/clear Admiralty Blue paint, and most everything is either brand new or rebuilt throughout. Drivetrain

The 455 is a Pontiac date code correct engine but not the original. This engine was rebuilt as was the Turbo 400 transmission and the posi-traction rear end. The engine and transmission look factory new. The engine bay is fully detailed and appears as new. The car has power steering and power brakes that function as they should. This is an A/C car but the air-conditioning system has not been reinstalled. All A/C components I have will come with the car, most as new or nos.

Suspension and Exhaust

All of the suspension components were replaced in the restoration of this TA. New front coil springs, Brand new upper and lower control arms, new rear leaf springs, New shock absorbers, New front end components, bushings, link kits, sway bars, and urethane bushings. This Trans Am will need a front end alignment prior to being driven since all of the front suspension components are brand new. (If interested, we can provide the service for an additional $374.95) Exhaust system is also brand new from manifolds to tailpipes and sounds fantastic!

Interior

The seats, front and rear, were professionally recovered with a correct white trans am upholstery kit. A brand new headliner was professionally installed. The original dash pad and dash are in great condition with no scratches or tears. The door panels are new and the console pad is new. The console and automatic trans stick shifter are very nice.Shifter has been rebuilt with no springs and bushings. Brand new carpet set. All glass is good condition. All electrical components are working with the exception of the wiper arms and horn. (it appears as though it will need a new wiper motor and may need either new horns or a relay.) We felt that the new owner should be able to select their own sound system.

Exterior

As stated the paint is brand new Basecoat clearcoat and very nice. A new decal set was installed. New emblems. All the chrome trim is present, with most being new, and looks great. Bumpers, spoilers, And all the body panels are in good aligment. The weather stripping has been completely replaced throughout the car.

Undercarriage

As stated this car is originally rust free. The undercarriage is not painted but is extremely clean. All original metal in great condition. See photos.

Wheels and Brakes

The Honeycomb 15" wheels have been restored and new center caps and trim rings installed. Brand new 225/60/R15 series Goodrich TA white letter tires were mounted, balanced and installed. All new front and rear brake components, Including master cylinder, brake booster, all houses, all steel lines, we are cylinders, shoes, pads and rotors, and fuel lines.

One of the cleanest ' investment grade 74 TA's out there with a stunning exterior and interior! Just needs the right person to finish some minor details to have a very valuable nearly perfect Trans Am, that will only appreciate in value. With the passing of Burt Reynolds I'm sure these already popular cars will become even more sought after.
