1966 Pontiac Catalina Ventura

I bought this from the nephew of the original owner if I have it right. It was sold new in ukiah california. I believe i have the original plates and i think...the dealer plate frames...but i cant find them ...so no promises. Its as loaded ups as ive seen....Wood wheel power door locks...really. power windows...tilt...atc air ..two tone paint skirts power steering and brakes... Rebuit engine and transmission at some point. Not many miles on since. The car has been sitting for a while. It's super solid. Not a rust bucket...but...it does have some rust...but nothing terrible. Needs interior... Headliner...took it out so you don't have to. Carpet...it's done. Seats...need recovered. Dash...cracked package tray...replace it.. Door panels...pretty nice ...should be just fine when cleaned up..wood wheel... It's fair..but has cracks. Seen one lately...in a Ventura? . The car runs and drives and stops nice. You could drive it home....hood latch is missing or broke...it doesn't close fully... Brakes are good. No noise. Front end seems good too...no noise. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts solid. I was told they were rebuilt and I'm sure they were. No valve train noise...no blow by.. no leaks on this car...none...its dry on pavement after sitting for a week right here...tires...fair. org radio in trunk. I didn't clean or touch trunk. It's not rotted out or rusted around lip...nice. surface rust under rubber mat...but some steel wool and scrubbing ...for an hour of work...it would make a nice trunk..and it would be fine...not new and shiny and perfect...but not rotted through either. This is not a show car. It's old and unrestored. It's a driver...the best kind of car to find. It's getting very...very hard to find decent original cars. Really hard. They are either trashed and field cars...or someone has attempted to restore them and ruined them...or they are correctly restored and 25k 35k 50k etc. I have to say... it was likely a special order car... It wasn't just a plain old lot car. It's priced fair. I'm ready to sell it...don't need it sitting around and am out of space to keep it inside. I may take a video of it...but the pics should show it pretty well. It's in need of interior work and the paint is weak...mainly the top... It has a nice look to it. Power seat and four way flasher and tilt...as well..just remembered.
