Gorgeous example of a rare high optioned car

VISOR VANITY MIRROR, FACTORY RATCHET SHIFTER, ORIG. CARB, ENGINE, DRIVETRAIN,ORIG. CARB.
THIS IS A TURNKEY VEHICLE. WHILE BEING 41+ YEARS OLD IT LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE IT JUST LEFT THE DEALER LOT. THE PICS DO NOT DO JUSTICE TO THE TRUE BEAUTY OF THIS CAR. I HAVE SEEN TRANS AM'S POST COMPLETE ROTISSERIE RESTORATION THAT DO NOT LOOK AS GOOD AS THIS ORIGINAL AND WHICH ALWAYS GET THE SMALL DETAILS WRONG. THIS CAR LEFT STEINER PONTIAC IN PASADENA WITH VIRTUALLY EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON CAR EXCEPT WORN REPLACEABLE PARTS AND PAINT.
NO DISAPPOINTMENTS. SHIFTS SMOOTH AS GLASS, NICE SOUND NOT TOO HEAVY, JUST A PLEASURE TO TAKE ON TRIPS KNOWING YOU HAVE A RELIABLE CAR WITH 7500 MILES ON IT. THERE IS NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THE CAR. SHEETMETAL IS SOLID GM. PARTS REPLACED WERE ALWAYS EITHER NOS OR USED PONTIAC TRANS AM PARTS YEAR CORRECT. NO AFTERMARKET GARBAGE.
IT LITERALLY LOOKS LIKE IT'S BRAND NEW AND DRIVES EVEN BETTER. TRULY THE LAST GASP HIGH PERFORMANCE CAR FROM GM IN THE 70'S. AND IT'S RARE.
NEVER THOUGHT THIS DAY WOULD COME. THIS IS MY 1977 TRANS AM LOADED WITH EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE FOR THE '77 MODEL YEAR. CAR CAME ORIGINALLY IN CAMEO WHITE WHICH LIES BENEATH THE SUMMIT BLACK GLOSS PAINT. PAINT IS IN DRIVER CONDITION AND A SUPERIOR PAINT JOB PUTS THIS CAR INTO PRISTINE SHOW CONDITION.
AN ABSOLUTE JOY TO DRIVE AND ADMIRE. WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY CAR COLLECTION OR FOR SUMMER DRIVING. AND HEY, IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE IT DAILY.......GO FOR IT!
ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET REMOVED FROM REAR SEAT, SOLD NEW IN PASADENA CA, I AM THE 3RD OWNER, CAR SPENT 15 YEARS IN SOUTHERN CA., THEN 10 IN DRY EASTERN OREGON WHEN I BOUGHT IT 20+ YEARS AGO. GARAGE WHILE IN MY CUSTODY. ZERO RUST.
EQUIPPED WITH ULTRA RARE AMERICAN T-TOPS THERE ARE MOST LIKELY LESS THAN 10 LEFT ANYWHERE ON EARTH. TOPS AND CRUISE WERE RARE DEALER ADD-ONS.
ENGINE REBUILT 17 YEARS AGO TO FACTORY SPECS WITHAPPROXIMATELY 7500 MILES HAVE BEEN PUT ON SINCE THEN. ONLY DRIVEN IN THE SUMMER FOR SHORT PLEASURE DRIVES AND CAR SHOWS IN STATE.
SPECIAL EDITION PHOENIX GRAPHICS PLATINUM DECAL PACKAGE. OVER $3,500 IN SOUND SYSTEM. EVERY CONCEIVABLE PIECE OF DOCUMENTATION FROM 1977 HAS BEEN THOROUGHLY COMPILED THAT RELATES TO THE 1977 TRANS AM. COMES WITH ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUALS AND BROCHURES PLUS TONS OF INFORMATION.
REGISTERED WITH PHS. GARNERS ALL THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES AND MORE. JUST A GORGEOUS, WELL CARED FOR ORIGINAL CAR. WHILE Y82'S AND OTHER S.E. CARS ARE LIMITED IN NUMBERS, I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT IF MORE THAN 10 1977 T/A'S OUTFITTED AS THIS ONE IS, IT WOULD BE A MIRACLE. I CAN'T DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE WITHOUT BEING STOPPED AND ASKED IF IT'S FOR SALE AND/OR IT'S HISTORY.
THE FACTORY CAMEO WHITE PAINT WAS SANDED FOR THE BLACK TOPCOAT PAINT APPLIES APPROX. 6 YEARS AGO. THERE ARE A FEW BURNTHROUGHS I UNFORTUNATELY CAUSED WHEN CUTTING AND POLISHING, AS WELL AS A COUPLE SANDED SPOTS. PAINT IS VERY PRESENTABLE AS IS ALTHOUGH THAT IS REALLY THE ONLY THING THE CAR NEEDS TO PUT IT INTO SHOWROOM CONDITION.
NEVER RESTORED. CAR IS NEARLY ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR PAINT AND THE FEW ITEMS I REPLACED INCLUDING A NEW HOOD (ORIG. GOES WITH CAR IF BUYER WANTS),MUFFLER, CARPET, FRONT SEAT COVERS (ORIGINALS ARE BOXED AND GO WITH CAR), STARTER, ALTERNATOR (HEAVY DUTY FOR STEREO), REAR DRUM COMPONENTS, FRONT BUSHINGS, FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS, MISC. HOSES AND HEATER CORE. I ALSO PUT LED BULBS IN THE FACTORY GAUGES. I HAVE KEPT AND BOXED EVERYTHING THAT WAS CHANGED OUT WITH NEW, BUYER CAN HAVE IF THEY WANT.
RETAINS MOST OF IT'S ORIG. FACTORY VACUUM HOSES. THE CAT WAS REMOVED AND GOES WITH CAR. SMOG PUMP AND COMPONENTS ALL THERE BUT NOT HOOKED UP. GO WITH CAR. A/C NOT HOOKED UP, ALL THERE, NEEDS TO BE RE-CHARGED.
FUNCTIONAL SHAKER FLAP. RARE HEADLIGHT ON WARNING BUZZER, GOODYEAR EAGLE GTII'S ON CRAGERS, ORIG. SNOWFLAKES BOXED AND GO WITH CAR.
THERE IS A LOT OF HISTORY WITH THIS CAR. VERY FEW TRANS AM'S WITH ALL THESE OPTIONS AND RARE TOPS WERE BUILT IN 1977. WHILE THERE ARE NO RECORDS ON THE NUMBER OF CARS THAT HAD THE AMERICAN TOPS INSTALLED, I HAVE SEEN ONLY 4 OTHERS IN THE LAST 20 YEARS ON EBAY OR ELSEWHERE AND I HAVE BEEN LOOKING EVERY WEEK WITHOUT FAIL.
THERE MAY BE A FEW SMALL THINGS HERE AND THERE THAT NEED TO BE DONE
CAR HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY CARED FOR AND MAINTAINED. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE CURRENT CAR VALUE GUIDE IT IS PRICED WELL BELOW BOOK.
