1979 Pontiac Firebird

This legend was cruising the streets all of summer 201, getting lots of thumbs up, The car is a FIREBIR, with trans am hood and shaker scoop, not mounte, just resting on there, has fresh dark blue paint, looks purple and,was painted as of January 2018, needs wet sand and buff, (looks black at night) The body has just over 65,400 miles, engine has around 28k miles, and trans has 8k miles from what i was told. It has nice black interio, a few tear, i mperfections, but mostly complete. The dash needs a replacement cove, easily fits right over existing dash, and relatively cheap, or can repair the bad spot on this one.This isnot a show car, it is needing repairs and restoration, but alot of potential is here. Its selling at a no reserv, you can think of it as a rolling bank accoun, especially after the unfortunate passing of the legend himself!!!! Can easily turn this into a clon, wheels and tires are mismatched, not the greatest shape. but hold air, and suggest replacing prior to putting it back on the road. It has solid floors, no rust on body, no evidence of any wrecks or collisions,as far as my untrained eye can see. Back to the drivetrain, it has a good running mean sounding 350 chevy engine,with edelbrock 4 barrel carb on it, headers flowmaster, turndowns,10 bolt 410 gear posi rear end, 350 trans with firm shift kit, has headers flow masters, with turn downs, sounds mean, edelbrock carb leaks gas, Car STARTS AND RUNS, but carb leaks gas,from base gasket, which may be fixed prior to auction endif time permits. It had a engine back fire which blistered the paint a little on hood and scoop,melted a few hoses, and wires which were all replaced and still needs a throttle cable to make it drive down the road. Also suggest to make timing adjustments, to dial it in for maximum performance.
