1988 Pontiac Fiero

This hot little car started life as a Fiero only to begin a metamorphosis into a Ferrari at some point. Owner who started the modification began with a 6 cylinder 5 speed Fiero then purchased the body kit from Air-Dynamics. Air-Dynamics makes great Ferrari body kits and are generally regarded as the most accurate in terms of dimensions -Dynamics is and fit and finish. The kit alone was over $5500.00 when purchased. Air-Dynamics is still in business today and no doubt the parts that you might need to complete the transformation can be purchased.
This one already has the kit on the body. It just needs finishing. The side view mirrors and lower front grill are pictured. The body kit itself is complete. There is a dash cover to resemble the Ferrari but the original Fiero dash is in great shape. ALl the instruments can be seen clearly through the gauge cluster plastic. Center console in good shape and the carpet while stained is in relatively good shape and only needs a good detail job. The seats are torn and will need to be recovered.
It is missing the side quarter glass but the rear glass is excellent and present and comes with the car. The windshield and both door glass are in excellent shape. It currently has the Fiero rims but I will include the wheel spacers needed to move the wheels out to finish the look.
One picture shows one of the Corvette rims up against the left rear tire to see what it would look like if these wheels were installed. These wheels and tires can be included in the sale if the reserve is met.
It has not run in a couple of years. Before it was parked new brakes were installed. I purchased a battery for it today but it is raining a lot and I have not been able to install and attempt to fire it up. Best to state that it is a non-runner right now and if transporting the car you will need to get quotes for an in-op. That said, the dshipping of this vehicle is of the buyers responsibility and all I can do is accommodate the pick-up and help load. I will update the ad if the car becomes drivable. It currently rolls, steers, and stops with no problem.
You can get into this kit for very little. Practically half the cost of the $5500.00 kit. The car comes with no warranty; neither expressed, written or implied. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if the offer is right.
I can't stress this enough. My description is as accurate as I can be with the car but it may not meet your definition of a used project car not yet finished definition so it would be best to for you to understand this is a project car that will require time and effort and is being sold "as-is" "where - is".
Can be a really nice car when you are done.
