Up for sale by a private party is this rare and beautiful Pontiac GTO convertible. It is a documented (1 of less than 180), TO, speed, am Air III, onvertible, n its original colors of “triple black”. Documentation of the car's authenticity is included and provided by the Pontiac Historical Society.This car is also one of the first produced by Pontiac, aving been manufactured in the month of January 1969 at the Baltimore, D facility. The only exception to this Ram Air III GTO is the original 400 c.i. engine which has been replaced with a date correct fully rebuilt, alanced, nd blueprinted, 969 Pontiac 428 c.i. / 390 h.p motor (see specs below for rebuild).

This car underwent a total reconditioning in 2009 which included; a new 2-stage black paint job; new convertible top & boot; rebuilt engine,driveline, nd suspension; all new weather stripping and molding. Car is solid and rust-free throughout, ll of the glass is in perfect condition.

Once all of the work had been performed, he owner drove the car less than 100 miles, ue to personal reasons.This “Weekend Warrior” has never been abused nor driven in bad weather. Receipts for all of the work performed are included.

ENGINE

1969 Pontiac 428 c. i. engine has been hot tanked, oned, nd decked.

Crankshaft was magnafluxed and polished

Custom ground hydraulic cam and lifters

New timing chain and gears

Blueprinted oil pump assembly

New freeze plugs

Performance three angle valve job

New valves and springs

Roller rocker arms

Bronze valve guides

DRIVE LINE AND DIFFERENTIAL

New clutch pack assembly

Balanced drive shaft and new "U" joints

Rebuilt 3.55:1 “Safe-T-track” differential

Rebuilt M-21 close ratio 4-speed transmission

SUSPENSION

Power disc brakes with new master cylinder, ower booster and brake lines

New disc brakes and hardware up front and in the rear drums

New shocks, ushings, nd ball joints

New rear springs and shocks

Powder coated factory original wheels w/redlinetires.

BODY & INTERIOR

2-stage black Dupont paint with little to no body work needed

Working “Ram Air” system

Hood mounted Tachometer (does not work)

Stock interior

New top and boot

Power antenna

8 Track tape player (has not been connected), adio does work

New dash pad

New carpeting
