This Formula has had Howards' meticulous ownership history making this the most original, most documented Formula in the country.
This Formula 400 was purchased new by LT. Col. Howard G. Neumann, from Johnson Pontiac GMC Jeep,Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Howard purchased this Formula on June 15th,1974 when he traded in his 1966 Chevrolet Caprice. Howard literally saved every document from new making this the most documented Formula 400 available!

The engine code is YL and is of course the original code on line order sheet. The Vin number is stamped on the engine and the Turbo Hydramatic transmission. Of course the original 10 bolt positraction rear has never been out of the car. Mileage is showing to be 56,145 miles. The mileage is documented through service records and receipts, but we have to sell it exempt due to the age. This is an un-restored original with original paint, moldings, original glass, original interior, original engine bay, original trunk compartmen, and the original undercarriage. If you give the car a quick look you will think the car has been fully restored but its actually all original and well preserved. The underside of the car still looks almost new with original paint markings and red oxide floors! Residing from colorado attributed to the under being the most solid and the cleanest original that we have ever seen yet! The trunk and engine look almost new as well and have never been restored.
