This 1949 Pontiac Coupe is labeled with the name "Rustella". Acquiring the name from her perfect patina. She was drug from beside a barn in the dry climate of Western Colorado. She has been retrofitted with a freshened up 454 Big block Chevy, with an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb. and stainless headers. Its cooled with a 3 coor aluminum radiator with electric fans.Its backed by a th400 tranny. The front suspension is a custom built mustang 2. Power disk brakes and drums in the rear. It has a 10 bolt rear with 4 link. It rides on bags controlled by an Accuair e-level system. The interior is done in a distressed brown foe leather that accentuates the patina perfectly. The trunk is done to match. The car is cooled by a custom fit ac system that works well. The car has new smoked glass all the way around except the back window. Also new door weatherstriping installed. The car is patinated but has very little rot. What it does have is on the passenger side door down low where some mice decided to post up residence for a number of years. The car runs great and drives fine. Gets tons of looks everywhere!!
