Body off frame restored, #s match Super Duty. 1 of 731 built in 1974 with automatic. Only 1,296 SDs were made total, ever. If you don't know the SD story it is an interesting one. Against the orders of top brass at Pontiac a few of the engineers were able to build a high performance 455 and sneak it into a limited number of cars. Now the engin, stock and built by Pontiac,it's built like a race engine right from Pontiac,with upgrades like stronger webbing, shot peened forged rods, TRW flat top pistons, round port heads, free flowing exhaust manifolds, etc. It's a torque monster. This car is PHS documented and has #s match motor, trans and rear. Correct code 16 heads. The underside is completely painted and detailed. Mechanicals were replaced or rebuilt- front end, brakes, exhaust, lines, bushings, shocks, gas tank etc. Good looking car. The paint and body is restored to excellent condition.
