Description:

1966 Pontiac GTO

Hi, First off let be clear about this. This is a LEMANS that was converted to a GTO.I bought this car a little over 5 years ago from an estate sale. The previous owner had all the body work done and painted, there wasn't a top or interior,or drive train. I spent probably 1 year assembling and putting together what you see now.
I purchased a 6.0 ltr motor and started with a turbo 350, I just over the winter had a 700r rebuilt with a B&M rebuild kit,and a new converter. The motor and trans work great together. All though when the trans shifts now it hits really hard do to the kit I chose. It has a high pressure fuel pump mounted behind rear axle.
It has a completely new wiring harness from front to back
The interior was all new from OPGI, including top and carpet. The bumpers are new as well as most of the chrome or stainless that was used. It does have 1967 grille, because I liked them better tan the 1966 ones. The rear panel was installed which is 1966 GTO panel and tail lights.
As I stated earlier it is a Automatic, but does resemble a 4 speed car, the pedal was left in with a Hurst Shifter that is a Automatic to look like 4 spd.
I bought Dakota Digital dash cluster. It was calibrated to the T350 trans, since I put in the 700r it HAS NOT been re-calibrated. The person that I had calibrate it initially cannot do it now. It was not hard to do, just something I haven't redone.
It has the computer and OBD2 mounted on left front side of engine compartment. It has front disc brakes installed with 17 inch wheels and tires. I know I have not put 1000 miles on it since i have had it.
This was my summer time toy. It still needs things done that I didn't car about. The reason I am selling it, I drove it once last year, and it is silly for it to be stored and Insured.
Any thing that I have as extra parts will go with it, Probably nothing really valuable.Console -headlight chrome-taillight housings, and other stuff
HERE IS THE THINGS THAT STILL NEED TO BE DONE.
1) The top is manual*** no hydraulics at all. I put the top down and would leave it till fall.2) The wipers were never hooked up, but I'm sure I have everything to complete install.3) The blower motor is new and installed just never wired it up completely.4). The simulated wood grain dash is coming loose do to our constantly changing temperatures it will need to be replaced.5) The paint is still really goo, but is not perfect . It is starting to show signs in a few spots.
I have sold probably 50 vehicles over the years and have never a a bad feed back left. I am very critical on how I list my cars. I try to tell everything about them, so there is no misdirection on the car. Please email any questions you need. I always suggest coming and viewing if possible.
Don't bid if you have less then 10 feedbac, unless you contact me. I will cancel them . SorryI will not tell you my Reserve, Don't ask.I listed it a couple years ago just for kicks and removed it because it went way past what I thought it was worth, So I am sure it will meet it again.
