1966 Pontiac Catalina

For sale is a 1966 PONTIAC 2+2 Project Car. This car has NO MOTOR, but it is being sold with the TH400 transmission and Pontiac 9778080 rear differential (10-bolt, 3.23 gear ratio). The car needs extensive body work. Included in this auction are a pair of rear quarter panel "half-skins" purchased from JC Whitney which are a perfect fit. There NO FRONT SEATS but there is a back seat. The car has all of the original glass including windshield, rear window, and front and back side windows, and the front and rear bumpers are in great shape.
The body is off the fame, so removal of the body itself will require some sort of hydraulic lift. Seller is not responsible for any damage to the body incurred during this process. The trunk has rust holes in the front corners, so care will need to be taken while removing the body. I have made some weld repairs to the rust damage on the frame, but it will require additional work.
Please see the picture of the replica copy of the window sticker for details on how the car was originally equipped. In 1966, the Pontiac "2+2" became a model of it's own (previous it had been an optional sport package for the Catalina), and the total production number for the year was 6,383 vehicles. This car had the 421 4BBL V8 motor, automatic transmission, and was trimmed with "Cameo Ivory" paint, black interior, and a black vinyl top.
