Description:
1967 Pontiac Firebird --
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION WE HAVE FOR SALE a nice 1967 Firebird. The bright red paint is nice, the black interior is in good condition, fresh rebuild on a good running 400 cubic inch engine (not original to car), fresh B&M Turbo 400 automatic transmission, new American Racing wheels and more. HOW IS THE BODY? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, the frame extensions look very solid to me, floors are just old car metal and look real solid, trunk pan looks solid to me. HOW IS THE PAINT? I see no dents, I see no dings on the sides, I do see in certain light a very tiny ding on top of the trunk (hard to see and did not break the paint), the shine is very good on the paint, the body is straight when I look down the sides, it does have a little orange peel texture under florescent lighting ( it can be rubbed and buffed more if you want perfection, but it looks great to my eyes. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Black interior is nice, the worst thing I see is a molding strip added to the bottom of the door panels to cover a rough edge. Head liner, carpet and dash pad are all good. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! WIPERS WORK! HEATER BLOWER WORKS! SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GUAGE WORKS! NO RADIO AND THE HOLE IS NOT CUT! HOW IS THE ENGINE? It runs and sounds very good! Past owner said it was a fresh rebuild on a 400 cubic inch engine. I hear no knocks or rattles, I see no blue smoke. The car probably was born with a 326 and the perfect fit upgrade done. I could not find casting number on the bottom of the block so I'm just telling you what I was told. Its a good engine! HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a fresh Turbo 400 automatic. It shits good and look fresh and clean. HOW ARE THE BRAKES? 4 wheel drums that stop good for what they are. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drive very good, it is not power steering. The front tires are larger than factory, it is heavy steering when parking? HOW IS THE GLASS? Windshield look new, side window roll up and down with some scratches, back glass good original. HOW IS THE CHROME? Bumper look new, door handles look new, window trim original with a some scuffs and marks. HOW IS THE EXHAUST? Full tube header, new Muscle Car sounding mufflers. HOW ARE THE WHEELS AND TIRES? New American Racing 15 inch Torque Thrust wheels, tires have good tread, but not new. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? All I can say for sure is I bought the car from my car restoring friend that lives near Cinciniti. He said past owner said it was original miles, but I do not have a clue.
