1984 Pontiac Grand Prix coupe
Solid professional fresh build 1500 street miles and 3 passes. This car runs and drives awesome easy 12s at 104 very conservative tune, much left. Built as follows, solid body, floors, frame. 12 bolt 67 chevelle rear 4.10 gear moroso posi, long studs Aftermarket trailing arms, new brakes, cylinders, hardware drums etc.Aluminum driveshaft, G force crossmember, 700R4 trans with FULL manual reverse pattern valve body, B&M 2800 non lock up converter.Correct winters gate style shifter built into factory console.1970 4 bolt LT1 block fully machined +040, decked, line honed. forged GM crank MAGGED, New H beam rods, small dome KB pistons (balanced) Fresh L98 58cc aluminum heads, all new valves, springs retainers guide plates, Pocket ported gasket matched,new guides. Isky oval track cam 485/485 230 106. Weiand stealth manifold and holley 650DP carb. Mallory unilite dist. Hooker super comp headers, full 3inch exaust with flowmasters.( your neighbors may not like) Roller rockers, cloys chain, hardned pushrods etc.Huge radiator with 2 cooling fans, trans cooler, all new solid mounts.Did not spare any expense here.This car is fun to drive and rides like a cadillac@ 3700 lbs with me in it. 2400 rpm in OD @ 60 mph will cruise all day. This car has 205 psi cranking compression, I usually add a little race fuel if I plan on getting on it so I dont have to back the timing down. Runs on 93 otherwise with 36 total timing. (I used 5 gallons of race fuel during the whole summer, adding 1 gallon per tank) its around 11.5 to 1 compression. Interior is super clean, good headliner,seats, dash, car has factory gauge package and they all work aftermarket stereo, original a/c system is all there except for the compressor...all lines capped.I disconnected the factory tach it started jumping around but it does work. Aftermarket tach, shift light, oil and temp gauges.As i said the car is solid, trunk is like new, factory spar, jack intact. Could use paint unless you like the stealth grey......everything works, heat wipers, signals etc..Just installed 2 new complete upper control arm assys. Bushings were dry rotted and it was just easier to change complete arm+ new balljoints and shafts included.. You could not build this car for anywhere near my reserve price.I have well over that just in the drivetrain alone.Not pressed to sell but could use the garage space, if you are a car guy im sure you understand.
