1951 Pontiac Other

I had great intentions to restore this beautiful Pontiac Wagon. In the initial listing, I failed to mention that thefront fenders andgrill is from a 1950 Wagon and is not correct for 1951. THE TITLEREFLECTS THE CORRECT VEHICLE WITH THE CORRECT VIN PLATE. The body partsfor the 50 were readily available andwere used. However, the original grill is all that is needed to make this a correct 1951 Pontiac wagon, andan original grill can still be obtained. Now for the rest of the info. The motor turns and will run if you take the time and spend a little money. We poured gas into the carb and put a new battery in it and the motor fired. However, the exhaust is bad and the car was loud.No motor noise was detected. This is not a common wagon and it is worth the time and effort. Allglass is present, with both sliding windows able to function. Thebody needs work, as the front floors will require replacement. The spare tire well in the back of the wagon also will require some metal work. The body is pretty solid, and the frame is in great shape. A driver side front fender and a front passenger replacement door are included with the car (these parts on the car are useable on the car.)As you can see from photos, many parts (including new gas tank and sending unit)are included with the car. The interior is complete and will also require restoration. The steering wheel is in great shape and the dash instrumentation is all present. The factory radio is provided also, along with the original antenna. Overall a great and worthy restoration project will yield a very cool and uncommon wagon. The price is right! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TRANSPORATION AND COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS VEHICLE. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY. ACCURATE MILEAGE ISNOT KNOWN. MILEAGE STATED ISWHAT IS ON ODOMETER.
