BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER on this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Y84 Special Edition Bandit Black with Tan Interior that has PHS paperwork. This car was sold new at Schneider-Gilbert Pontiac Company in El Paso Texas and has remained in the area since new it is a VERY SOLID car. I have had it for around 4 years and have not got around to restoring it. I did buy the car like this and here is what I know about it, it has a New Mexico title in my name, it is very solid and a lot of parts that go with it, it is a 403 V8 but not matching numbers, it is missing the rear bumper cover, I do have a front bumper for it and the T-Tops, I did buy a original tan dash pad in nice condition that is included, I was going to repaint the car because I am not too happy with it(never got around to it)thats just my opinion. Here is what I was told when I bought the car: The engine and transmission were rebuilt(I never checked it nor never drove it), the frame was removed blasted and painted(gray), you car see suspension parts are new, carpet and some of the glass in new and the doors and floors do have aftermarket insulation.
