We have this 1982 Pontiac Trans Am aka "Psycho" that was built to be a show car back in the 80's. This car has a rear body widen body for the Mickey Thompson Street tires. Car has a 454 BBC motor with a Dyer blower dual Holley carburetors, MSD 6al ignition, with a custom nitrous plate and break out block. Car also has a 3 speed setup for racing, full roll cage (Not Certified), and wheelie bar. Car has never seen the track that we know of. The roll cage was welded to the floor boards and rear floor and would recommend reenforcing the cage and the unibody before it ever sees the track. Car has a lot of power and fast. Paint is showing its age as its flaking and has some cracking in the fiberglass. The interior for the most part is all original minus the modification for the roll cage, the shifter, and the Tach. We just changed the front valve cover gaskets over winter of 2015, the rear end cover, gasket and oil. The rear was lowered a little and you can hear where the back is bottoming out, so it will need to be worked a little to make it not bottom out. Car gets A LOT of attention and can be a great car when restored. Car does need work so please do not expect a turn key ready show car. The bones are there to make this a great car. Not sure if mileage is correct but we have owned it for about 6 -7 years now and its maybe seen 400 miles tops.
