Description:

1978 Pontiac Trans Am

Low mileage one owner southern car. I bought it from a dealer who bought it from the original owner 12 years ago. I washed the dust off of the outside. The inside is still dusty. The car had a low quality recent paint job when the dealer got it. He tore it down as shown and was going to send it out for a quality paint job. Then he never took it to the paint shop. Been setting like this ever since. The car has the original motor (L78 400) and transmission. I have a clear title. I also have a complete graphics set for the car to include the original bird for the hood. I also have new door weather stripping. The condition of the car is as follows: The interior is nice driver quality. The seats are soft and have no rips. Dash has no cracks. Headliner is good. The carpet needs to be replaced. Door panels were removed to remove locks from doors. They had speaker holes cut in them so they will need to be replaced. The bottom of the car is as nice as I have ever seen from a rust standpoint. The exterior will need a complete paint job. All of the gaps are correct and the doors shut like a new car. Has small dings that need to be worked out. Has a rust spot in the drivers side rear lower quarter. Pinhead size rust spots in passenger lower quarter. The car sounds good and shifts out well. Brakes are a little soft but will stop it. I will try to have them in good shape before auction end. I have all of the parts that have been removed for paint. I will post a picture later in the week when I have them all in one spot. This is a rare chance to get a low mileage 78 T/A and not break the bank. This will make a spectacular car. Email questions or concerns and I will answere all. My name is Bob
