Up for auction: Absolutely original 1966 Pontiac Tempest. Has protectoplate and all original doc. May be the most unmolested original in the country. Car originally purchased in York, Ne. and has never left the state. 2nd family owner. Still has the most awesome new car scent as it did back in 66. All service records and documentation. The original owners never wore there shoes in the vehicle. If you seen the interior you would totally believe that. Weatherstripping perfect.Original mats. 326 v-8, powerglide transmission.Gold on Gold.Near new Michelin radials. Has power steering/brakes. Dealer installed A/C from the dealer. Fan blows hard but I am sure will need servicing. Recent work: Battery cables, original spring loaded. Radiator flushed and painted. Gas tank removed and cleaned. Two imperfections on the car. As seen in pics. 1) Few tiny rust bubbles on front fender. 2) Scratch on pass. door top part and trim. Car is not rusty. Drives like new. Doors open and close like new.Original hubcaps. All weatherstripping like new. Interior is unreal condition. You would never match it. Bumpers and chrome excellent. Paint very nice. No not repainted. Horn and radio does not work and obvioulsy on same circuit. I am sure a one wire issue but I am not a pro and not going to tear into unmolested new wiring as it was from factory. Car runs and drives. Drives like new. But carb hesitates and and would need a professional to adjust as I am not a professional.. Car is sold as is and I am very open and honest with all issues. Just view my feedback. 100%. Car will be sold as I need space and someones needs to drive and enjoy. I would consider this car close to a museum piece. Not a hot sure.
