I am putting up for auction my 1965 Pontiac 2+2 421 4 speed convertible.i did a no expense spared rotisserie restoration on this one of a kind loaded with options very rare muscle car.The car was originally sold in long island new york.I have the original protecto plate.I also have the PHS documents for the car.This restoration was a three year undertaking that I finished aprox. two and a half years ago on this numbers matching 421 2+2.To start with there is just over 1000 miles on the car since completion.The car was already pretty well optioned and I also added a few.The car was the feature car in the april 2016 auto restorers magazine.Let me start with the long list of what was done.The numbers matching 421 was completely rebuilt,bored 30 over with a ram air 3 cam.rebuilt 1966 tripower unit.Rebuilt correct long tail shaft moncie 4 speed trans.{car was an automatic}Brand new 11 inch flywheel and brand new 11 inch clutch.Rebuild numbers matching 323 posi.heavy duty suspension.power steeringpower brakespower windows and power vent windowsTrunk releasepower seatPower antfactory am fm radioFactory air added by me and blows coldCruise controlfactory bucket seats and consoleReverb {added by me}Restored 8 lug wheels 4 good year all weather tireselectronic ignitionTilt wheelSimulated wood wheelRemote drivers mirrorEvery part of this car was either refurbished or replaced.Car was striped to bare metal top and bottom and redone in the original color with PPG single stage paint.The finish on this car is outstanding.Pictures don't come close to telling the story.Interior is completely redone from the carpet to the conv.top.Every mechanical part of this car was restored,all of the air conditioning components were replaced.Car looks just as nice underneath as on top.Truly a one of a kind.You won't find one nicer.Just try and find one of these and restore it to this level it would easily be in the 6 figures.I set a very resonable reserve.You are welcome to come and veiw the car,I have a restoration shop and can put it on my lift.{please no test drives,tire kickers or picture takers}I may be interested in a partial trade.Let me know what you have.I will require a 2000 dollar deposit if your the sucsessful bidder unless other arrangement are made.Thank you and good luckIf you have less than 10 feedbacks you must contact me or I will cancel your bid
