1988 Pontiac Fiero

Still on fence about selling my baby as I've had her since 1992,but lacking good winter storage so may have to let her go.Anyway, car is no trailer queen,it's a light project that I'd use locally as a 2nd (fun) vehicle only because it hasn't been registered since 2002.I was just going to register as an antique vehicle, but each year comes and goes and no extra money to enjoy my baby again.Car does have a couple rust holes in trunk storage area which is common, but nothing major and needs a new battery tray due to rust, but still holds one. Also needs tires as rear ones lose air over time, tread is worn, and dry cracking.Paint is pretty good, but rear spoiler seems to have faded, but maybe a good waxing will bring it back....can't hurt! Car ALWAYS starts right up and it was always reliable, that's why I hate that Pontiac is gone!!! :( Over the past few years I've replaced the throttle body, fuel pump, exhaust system and mufflers, transmission cooler lines with braided hose, brakes and rotors, although rotors do have surface rust, but brakes work fine. The frame does have surface rust from using car a couple winters and sitting out so in person inspection is strongly recommended so no surprises!!! Interior is very nice still, but headliner droops a bit which is common, but not real bad.The drivers side headlight will need minor service as it makes a sound going up and doesn't go down flush with hood, but it's only like 1/4"-1/2" and pushing on it makes it go down most of the way. This is very common with Fiero's and an easy fix I hear with kit through The Fiero Store. Also, only real option car has are the t-tops and tilt steering wheel,no a/c,no power windows,no cruise control,etc,etc...just a basic t-top Formula! Again, this is the very rare t-top Formula edition and a blast to drive, but will need a lil attention here and there.I don't expect it to be a major project as long as you don't want to win SEMA car shows, just drive locally and have fun with it.Again,if you can check it out in person before you buy, that would be highly recommended and car is listed on CL locally for sale or trade for on/off road/enduro bike like Honda CRF250L so I have the right to end auction if car sells first locally!!!Because of age of car, only a bill of sale will be given after paid in full and all sales are final with no refunds of deposit if buyer renigs on purchase of car!!! And PLEASE ask questions before you bid because this is a binding sale and again,no refund of deposit if you decide to not get car or can't because of any reason!!!Buyer is fully responsible for shipping or picking car up and ALL costs associated with that and I can hold car for a reasonable time, but remember, winter is coming so please get car asap after purchase, thanks so much!!!If you plan on picking car up yourself and have a Honda CRF250L,maybe we could do a trade deal???
