1979 Pontiac Trans Am

Recently out of years of storage, last owner had it since 98’

70,142+ miles on a 79' Trans Am with 77' front and rear fascia's

Since I have owned it I have put lots of $ and tons of time into it.

Painted w/ 07-09 Corvette Z06 Atomic Orange - When painted the nose, fenders, hood, trunk, spoilers and vents were all disassembled. The engine bay and all parts painted independently

·Rebuilt 400 with big cam, 1.6 Roller Rockers, Edelbrock intake, Holley Carb (Freshly Rebuilt), Headers, Flowmaster mufflers, dual electric fans - FRESH TUNE - Motor has less than 7,000 miles, (I do have all the A/C components, which will go with the car. The previous owner took everything off for more power he said). Very foolish in my opinion

·NEW Chrome air cleaner, valve covers, thermostat housing, brake booster cover, blower motor

·Rebuilt Auto Tranny has less than 7,000 miles

·Posi rear end - serviced and tight 3.23 gears

·Near new tires and brakes (NEW Caliper)

·Entire car was undercoated with Red painted rear cover, drums, calipers, and hats on the rotors

·NEW chrome door handles, chrome door trim and window felt

·Interior is very nice w/new seats and carpet, headliner, rear deck covering

·Digital Performance Gauges (red) with lifetime warranty (paperwork will go with buyer as well as factory gauges). This will display speed, trip, odometer, high speed recall, 0-60 tim, and quarter mile elapsed time, 6 miles since installing the gauges

·New trunk and door seals

·New fluids throughout

Poor prep on the hood resulted in some blistering that appeared some time after it was painted. Also the decal has some creases in it on the driver side. I contacted a paint shop about painting the hood and they told me to redo it would be $500 with a warranty so would expect the same in other locations. This is NOT a show car but still a very nice car especially for the age
