VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

400 Big Block Pontiac Engine bored .040 with 6X-4heads, TH400 Transmission & 12 bolt rear axle with 3:73 gears and Eaton posi unit. Engine was completely rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago.The other work was done in 2002 by former owner. 14,750 on odometer but does not reflect the actual mileage.

Third owner, always garage kept, been in the rain only once since 2008 ( since I've owned it).

Engine rebuilt for street/strip, although the tags show 455 it actually has a 400 Pontiac. Roughly 1977 Bandit era.Speed Pro forged pistons, BOP viton rear main seal, ARP rod and head bolts. Crane Cam, heads are 6X-4 with ARP screw-in studs.Exhaust has Hooker super comp headers into a Flowmaster system with H pipe. Ignition is a Mallory Comp 9000 unilite.Carburetor is a 750 Edelbrock, mechanical fuel pump with a red Holley electric backup on a manual switch for cold starts or a little extra fuel when you need it.Be cool aluminum radiator with thermostat electric fan and high-torque gear reduction mini starter. Engine rebuild by local drag racer and engine builder. Built for performance and longevity. Estimated over 400 HP by builder. Runs like it has even more.

>TRANSMISSION/REAR AXLE- TH400 Transmission built heavy duty, with shift kit calibrated for extremely firm shifts.TCI flexplate with ARP bolts and a B&M 2400 holeshot torque convertor. B&M Megashifter w/HD cable, T-handle Slam shifter, B&M auxiliary trans cooler. Custom drive shaft with 1350 u-joints.Rear axle has 3:73 Richmond gears, Eaton 3 series posi, Timken bearings, Yukon axles and aluminum cover. This whole setup could easily handle more power than what the car currently has.

>SUSPENSION- Full Performance Suspension Technology polygraphite front end kit with HD coil springs, 1-1/4 inch anti-sway bar w/billet mounts.Hotchkiss adjustable rear trailing arms and trailing arm braces. Brakes are stock but done 13,000 miles ago, the front drums and master cylinder are newer. The car drives very nicely, firm and straight, no rattles or squeaks, and corners great.

>INTERIOR/STEREO/ALARM- All carpet, seat covers, panels, head liner, vinyl top, and weatherstrip was replaced in 2002.Autometer: oil pressure, amp meter, and water temp gauges.Grant GT steering wheel, Rattler alarm with remote keyless entry (power locks).Nakamichi CD-35z head unit, Nakamichi PA1004 amp running Focal separates in front and Polk/Goldwood separates in back.Kenwood amp running a single 10" Polk Audio subwoofer. There is some sun-fading on the carpet, on the transmission tunnel, and on the rear deck, was like this when I bought it.Dash pad is homemade and looks decent.Sun visor needs resewn and back corner needs a little tidying up but not loose. See pics

>PAINT/BODY- This area has the most negatives on the whole car.Car was repainted in 2002.It was not a body off or a full strip, the body is very straight. However, there is a little bondo in a couple spots and very little bubbles over the rear wheels and a few specks on the hood.(see pic) The bumpers were original and not re-chromed, there is a small dent in the front (see pictures), some sanding marks on both. All lights and markers work, love the old school blue dots on tail lights and Arrowhead shaped markers on rear fenders. Although there are flaws, the car is a big head turner and receives a lot of comments and is extremely fun to drive.I take it to cruises and parades, but will not win any picky car shows, though it has won a People's Choice Award.

Only other issues I can think of at this time are, the gas gauge just stopped working recently and the right turn signal does not return when you turn that way.

This car is a ball to drive. Constant thumbs up from people, has the right stance, sound and look. Would be an easy conversion to a GTO Clone. Very responsive and quick. Rides awesome! Just don't drive it as often as I should and it just sits. Needs to be driven and enjoyed. Get an old car while you can. Remember, They don't Make 'em anymore and there are fewer everyday.

$16,000 O.B.O
