THIS IS A PRETTY RARE CAR. NOT MANY OUT THERE TO FIND. ENGINE AND TRANS ARE LONG GONE. THE WORST PART OF ITS STORY IS THAT IT WAS PARKED IN THE WOODS IN ARKANSAS FOR YEARS WITH THE TRUNK OPEN AND WINDSHIELD AND BACK GLASS GONE. FLOORS, TRUNK, QUARTERS, TAIL PANEL, REAR WINDOW OPENING AND TOP OF DASH ARE ALL RUSTY. FRAME IS VERY SOLID, WITH SURFACE RUST ONLY.ROCKERS ARE SOLID AND BOTTOM OF DRIVER'S DOOR IS SOLID. I COULD NOT OPEN PASSENGER DOOR, BUT PRESUME IT IS IN THE SAME CONDITION. THIS CAR WAS NEVER IN THE SALT. THE INSIDE WAS OPEN TO THE ELEMENTS AND CRITTERS. MOST ALL THE TRIM IS THERE. BRAKES ARE FROZE UP FROM SITTING. WILL NEED A TRAILER WITH WINCHOR ROLLBACK TO TRANSPORT. A LE MANS OR TEMPEST WOULD MAKE A GREAT DONOR CAR TO PUTTHIS GTO BACK ON THE ROAD OR BUILD WITH NEW PARTS THAT ARE ALL OVER THE INTERNET. ALL I HAVE FOR THE CAR IS WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURES. IF YOU DON'T SEE IT, I DON'T HAVE IT. THESE CARSBRING BIG BUCKS WHEN RESTORED!CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU HAVE. THANKS, MIKE 479-238-1122 OR 479-228-4304

I am a paint and body man, and the more I look this car over the better I like it. The rusted areas on this car are panels that are normally replaced during a restoration, granted they are not all this bad. But instead of buying a full panel and cutting some of it away, you will need to use the whole panel as intended. It's a big job, but the car is worth it. The driver's door shuts solid and lines up perfectly. You can jack up the back of the frame in front of the rear wheel and the front wheel on that side will come off the ground. for someone in the rust belt, this is a cream puff! The car CAN and should be restored. Tri power set ups can be bought complete ready to bolt on. I just had a man in south GA tell me he has a correct engine, four speed with a/c still bolted on it.
