2 Owner PHS Documented 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix purchased in Riverside California at Kennedy Pontiac. Original Owner drove the vehicle until 1985. Then the Grand Prix became registered as California DMV non operated vehicle at 97,640 miles.
I purchased the complete matching numbers original paint car in 2010. That same year a complete Frame Off Restoration began. Body was taken down to bare metal, frame was stripped & completely disassembled. 428 block was taken apart, tanked, bored .30 over & prepped for rebuild. Crank shaft was Ground, Polished & Balanced for rebuild. Heads were ported & polished, had new valves, springs, retainers & seals installed. Hi-performance go fast internal engine parts were acquired & purchased for rebuild from Crank up. The car & engine was reassembled inside & out over a period of 5 years. These is an extensive & meticulous 3 ring binder of receipts, specifications & documentation on the rebuild in chronological order that goes with the car. Since I acquired this Grand Prix in near original condition & limited reproduction parts available for 1969 Grand Prix, 98% of this car is comprised of reconditioned & polished OEM GM/Pontiac parts. The 428 V8 makes 300 HP & 450 Lbs FTQ to rear wheel. TH400 was rebuilt with 2800 stall converter. Shifts smooth & quick. The Grand Prix has approx 500 miles on it since Restoration. Special Order Pontiac Paint Option "Castilian Bronze" paint code 23215 makes this SJ is in my opinion the most rarely seen & one of very few Pontiac Grand Prixs. Interior Seats have been meticulously recovered in Factory Correct "Madrid Black Leather". Interior Floor has been heat insulated & sound proofed with Dynamat. Pictured & Video document & show just about every step of Frame off Restoration. This is a highly optioned well restored 69 Pontiac SJ that has a Hi-Performance 428 with no expense spared. That been said this is not a perfect car, however you would hard pressed to find one in this condition with this much detail. Most every other 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix you find has "NEVER" been completely disassembled & put back together // Currently Odometer reading = 98,898 since frame off // 1,258 miles on engine & restored Pontiac Grand Prix/ Text/Call 951-691-2669 to schedule apt to view // 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix is SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, NO Warranty expressed or Implied // Located since 1969 in Southern California 92562 // Hundreds of Pictures upon request, email to masterwino@icloud.com for specific pictures // 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix, Pontiac Grand Prix, Pontiac 428, Grand Prix SJ, Model SJ, Pontiac 455, Grand Prix 428, Pontiac 400
