1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible 400

Check out this 1969 Pontiac Firebird. The car was professionally frame off rotisserie nut and bolt restored. There wasn’t a piece on this car that was not replaced restored or given the proper attention to. The undercarriage is as clean as the top side (see pics). The car has been just completed. It only has a fewshake down miles on it since completed. You are basically looking at a NEW car. The suspension shocks brakes engine trans paint fuel system steering radio wheels tires exhaust and much more was all new just a few hundred miles ago. The car starts idles and accelerates like a rocket with the rebuilt Pontiac 400 (350 hp and 400 tq). The rebuilt Turbo 400 transmission cruises without vibration and shifts very smoothly. The new front end brakes and shocks makes the car cruises down the road at highway speeds with no vibrations or wandering. It steers with ease due to the power steering and the disk brakes stop with no pulling or vibrations. The rebuilt 10 bolt posi rear end with 350 gears gives you the low end acceleration but still cruise down the road with ease. It is a very good cruiser very dependable and a real eye catcher. The car was a Factory A/C car and the firewall has been smoothed and is ready for an aftermarket kit to be installed (priced accordingly). The black convertible top is new. The paint is fresh in very good shape with no scratches dings or issues. It was professionally wet sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. It shines like you would not believe. You have to see it in person to believe it. The body work is laser straight. Many many hours went into the body work to achieve such a nice paint job. The body gaps are very good with no issues. There are no fitment issues. You should be able to drive this to California and back without a single problem other than the crowd it draws when you stop for gas. Fly in and drive it home. If car shows are your thing then you should be able to bring home many trophies with this beautiful car.

I have set a reasonable But It Now price. It is WAY less than you could ever come close to building this car for.

Body

The paint is new and very nice! Professionally wet sanded and buffed to SHOW QUAILITY

The body is straight with no dents bubbles scratches or rust SHOW QUALITY

All brightwork bumpers door handles mirrors emblems tail lights and chin spoiler are new with no issues

The hood is a Pontiac 400 steel hood

New black top and pads (top is ELECTRIC and works great)

All glass is nice and rolls up and down with ease.

New Windshield

All jambs are freshly painted and very slick and clean

NOTE: The picture of the $100 bill is in the reflection of the paint. That is how slick the car is. Notice you can read the serial numbers and how crisp the reflection is. It was difficult to take pictures of this car because of all the reflections that show up in the paint.

Wheels and Tires

Wheels are by Show Wheels and are the aluminum Streeter series.

The bottom side of the car is clean enough to eat off of. It has been driven enough miles to shake down any problems but never in the rain and has been meticulously cleaned and detailed back to better than new condition. The floor pans are slick and guaranteed to be rust free. Look at the undercarriage pics.

Car still has the correct factory cocktail shakers that are always missing on these convertibles.

I have a huge 3 ring binder with a lot of the receipts from the build. I also have the original build sheet warranty card and owner’s manual on the car where it was purchased new. I have a complete assembly manual and wiring manual also. Lots or paperwork and documentation come’s with this car.
