Up for auction is a 1971 Pontiac Lemans Sport, with Gto Enduro front end, with 455 engine. the first 5 numbers of the VIN are 23737 (Lemans Sport, 2Dr Hardtop).
I would consider this a running project, in need of total restoration. Although it runs it IS NOT ROAD WORTHY AT THE PRESENT TIME. It start, moves in drive and reverse but would need a minimum of new belts, hoses, fluids, tune up, brake work, etc to be road worthy. The Pontiac 455 engine is NOT original to the car. It is a 1974 YX stamped block, 485428 casting number, with 4X heads.
The body is in fair condition with some previous bodywork done to it (Not professional). This car has typical rust in all areas that most A Body cars have ( fenders, floors, quarter panels, trunk etc).
It looks to be an original Air conditioning car, but there are NO A/C components on the car ( compressor, condenser etc).
The interior is in fair condition with an incorrec, but functional console and shifter.
