We acquired this car in 2007 from the original owner, here in Los Angeles, and we have used it as a daily driver.
The engine and transmission are good and strong, and the car has no functional problems.
QUAD 4 Cylinder Engine.
It has been properly maintained with regular oil and filter changes, including gasoline filter. It has always passed California smog tests. Currently registered to the seller, with a clear title.
Currently the California tags are good until November, 2016.
The engine starts right up. Was outfitted with a fresh battery in February of 2016. Power steering, power brakes, lights, radio, horn and turn signals all work. At present the AC doesn't work. It had recently been converted to the newer freon, and the compressor stopped working this summer. The engine and cooling system doesn't overheat, and the system cooling fans come on and turn off as they should. The fuel and temperaturegaugeswork. There are no engine warning or lights left on after the engine is turned on.
No suspension issues, or noises, when you turn, or stop.
Please remember this is a 1991 car, and will have normal wear and tear issues. We have described it as fully and completely from front to back, top to bottom as possible.
The transmission fluid has been changed when required, with filter replacement. All oil changes have been done every 2,000 miles.
Hoses and belts are good. The alternator and radiator have been replaced. Water pump has been replaced. All light, and lenses are in good working order. 2 sets of keys provided. The trunk is relatively good, and is complete with spare and jack.
The radio is stock AM/FM only.
The headliner, is in tack.
The alignment is good, and all 4 tires are significantly worn. 3/4 of the wheel covers are original and 1 is replacement.
There are no fluid leaks, and the vehicle does not use or burn oil.
The car has not been detailed. The car had been refinished prior to us buying it in 2007, and has a dull to shiny appearance. There is some panel damage on the passenger side, behind the rear door as well.
Seats 5 people, and all seat belts work. The passenger seatbelt is missing the metal covers for the clip, but is functional.
The interior has excessive wear on the drivers seat, and both of the front door panels have worked loose. We have taped them back for practical driving. The glass is original all the way around, and is not cracked. One of the electric door locks doesn't respond automatically, from the driver's control. The turn signal internal hardware was replaced recently but the arm has been modified. Please see that specific photograph describing its appearance. There was a front collision, radiator, support, 1 headlight, front bumper, and driver's side 1/4 panel were replaced, and not painted white to match. The front grill doesn't just snap it, and we have fastened it legally for years along with the front licence place with zip ties. We have another hood, which is also blue to include with the vehicle if you would like, which is not dented.
There are some rust spots on the top of the windshield window area and the back window / windshield area. It hasn't rained in Los Angeles for awhile. They have been rust treated and silicone filled, in the meantime. We do not know how they will hold up in the next storm.
This vehicle is sold as is, where it is. $250.00 deposit via paypal required within 48 hours of the end of sale via paypal. The balance due prior to pick up, or payment in cash upon pick up. Seller will not make any arrangements for delivery of the vehicle. We will coordinate our availability for a car transport service to pick it up or for you. We will not be available between Friday evenings and Sunday morning for answering questions, or to arrange for pick up.
