1986 - 1/2 original collectible Fiero GT only 17,000 cars originally made nationwide. First off-the-line original fastback with a spoiler design. Car owned by one owner, Covergirl Studios Inc., a modeling agency with hundreds of models on magazine covers.
The driver seat has a small tear on the side, by the seam. The finish of the car is original, has some sun fade that can be compounded back to original look. Sun fading on certain spots from being outside.
Interior on the center console has a little buckling on the sides that can be re-set to original state.
Gas tank was worked on two years ago, oil flushed out, re-set. At that time full mechanical approval, except gas tank was taken out, boiled and flushed and cleaned, and re-set with a drainage valve on the bottom if needed. When I had it in the shop two years ago, I spent about $1500 getting this car into good shape.
The battery has to be re-charged or replaced.
Tires were new when the car was put into storage, but the rubber has dried out, suggest buying new tires for it, and new brake shoes.
The engine looks like it's a brand new engine, no wear and tear, as if it just got out of the showroom.
For sale as is, needs new battery or charge to battery, tires need replacement, and brake shoes need replacement or adjustment, gas tank may need to be drained. If you put $1500 into it, it will be like a nearly new vehicle. The body is in good shape. You can have the car towed out of here, it will not be drive-able until this restorative work is done. It's in excellent shape, but needs this work done. My location is in River Edge, New Jersey.
It wouldn't cost much to get this car into tip-top shape. The mileage is only 23,409.
