Real and correct 1976 Firebird Formula 400. Last year for the Formula 400 cars, last year for round headlights. Nice car. Brand new professional body restoration. Diamont base/clear less than a month old. New carpet, all new seals and gaskets, new headliner, new lights, new window motors, new hood liner, new windshield. All the lights work, horn works, wipers work. A/C is ice cold. Nice dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and correct tips. Car is pictured with nice real Enkei two piece gold center mesh wheels with brand new Goodyear 225/50/16 tires. Tires have zero miles. Also pictured with Brand new 20x8 and 20x10 Ion wheels with brand new tires. Buyer has the option to purchase car either way, depending on your style and personal taste. The reserve and Buy it now price both include the Enkie wheels and tires ONLY! The 20" Ion wheels can be purchased for $800 extra after the sale is complete. Has a nice cd player with new Alpine 6x9 speakers in the new package tray. All the interior plastics have been restored or replaced. Floors are rust free. All the trim has been painted satin black as well as the front inserts as pictured. New emblems all around, including the front bird. Car drives down the road nice, has good power, shifts firm and tight. Brakes well, steering is responsive. No unusual shakes or rattles. Car still needs a new steering wheel and door pull strap end covers that are ordered and will be installed before the car leaves. The seats are original and sit good, but do show some age as well as two small tears in the drivers seat. If the buy it now price is used, I will recover the seats for no additional cost. Please bear in mind, this is not a full restoration or show winning car. This is a cosmetic restoration of a very nice, original and rare Firebird that was built to drive and enjoy. It is nice enough to drive anywhere and win a trophy at your local Saturday night cruise. This is not a $45,000 showcar.
